(Reuters) – Germany’s Talanx stated on Saturday it had acquired Liberty Mutual Insurance coverage’s Latin America enterprise for about 1.38 billion euros ($1.52 billion), by way of its subsidiary HDI Worldwide.
“The acquisition encompasses Liberty’s retail enterprise in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador,” Talanx stated, including that the transaction is anticipated to shut in the primary half of 2024.
