WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. Senate committee will vote subsequent week on whether or not to problem a subpoena for Starbucks (NASDAQ:) Chief Government Howard Schultz to testify at a listening to on the corporate’s compliance with federal labor regulation.
Senate Well being, Schooling, Labor, and Pensions Committee chair Bernie Sanders mentioned the committee will even vote to authorize a committee investigation into main firms’ labor regulation violations. Schultz final month declined an invite from 11 senators to testify on March 9.
